# Partner network — revenue share scope

Internal doc. NOT customer-facing.

## Default revenue share

When BITRAGE refers a customer to a partner who delivers a paid service:

| Partner type | Revenue share to BITRAGE | Frequency |
|------------------|--------------------------|-----------------|
| Accountant / CPA | 10% of first-year fees | One-time |
| Lawyer | 0% (referral, no rev share) | One-time |
| Registry agent | 5% of incorporation fee | One-time |
| Chamber affiliate| 0% (mutual referral) | Ongoing |

We avoid revenue shares on legal services to stay on the right side of Law Society of Alberta rules around fee splitting.

## How it gets recorded

- Every partner referral is logged in `internal_kv` under `partner_referral:<partnerEmail>:<customerEmail>`
- Partners self-report quarterly through a Stripe-hosted form
- BITRAGE invoices accountants and registry agents on the rev-share quarterly

## Disclosure to customers

If we receive any rev share from a partner, we tell the customer at intro time. No hidden referral fees.

## Termination

Either party can leave the partner network with 30 days notice. We remove them from the customer-portal directory and stop new referrals.

## Re-evaluation

Partner-network performance reviewed every 6 months. Partners who don't deliver (slow response, customers complain) are quietly de-prioritized in the routing logic, then dropped on the next review cycle.
